Job Description Summary
Board Certified Radiation Oncologist with a minimum of five years of experience to serve as a full-time physician, primarily at Cherry Hill. Quality & Patient Safety: Lead continuous improvement initiatives addressing patient satisfaction, and ensure quality and safety standards are consistently integrated into departmental processes.
Physician Performance & Development: Identify issues requiring remediation or continued development among team physicians, communicating outcomes and resolutions with relevant physicians and departmental leadership. Review and develop individualized and team-wide plans to ensure physicians meet clinical targets aligned with departmental goals.
General Site Operations: Coordinate with network and site administration to manage physician scheduling, ensuring appropriate and adequate coverage across the practice; serve as the primary communication bridge between the practice and departmental leadership, ensuring timely and transparent exchange of information, issues, and plans; oversee Cherry Hill credentialing for core and modality-specific provider privileges, ensuring all compliance standards are maintained.
Business Development & Strategic Growth: Partner with leadership to expand business opportunities, establish clear metrics for success, and identify appropriate capital and minor equipment needs for the practice
Qualifications
M.D.; License to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania and New Jersey; DEA Licensure. Must be a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist with a minimum of 0-1 years of experience required. A minimum of five years of experience strongly preferred to serve as a full-time physician and Medical Director, primarily at Cherry Hill.
