Description:
The Division of Geriatrics in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. ABIM or ABFM certification and Geriatric Medicine certification/eligibility is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include training medical students, residents, and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.
Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient care at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center working with the Geriatric Co-management team and on the Acute Care for the Elderly Unit. The selected candidate will also be expected to provide clinical care at the PPMC Skilled nursing facility.
