What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate or Full Professor of Breast Surgery (AC Track) position at University of Pennsylvania?
The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of breast surgery. Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree. Candidate must be certified by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) or foreign equivalent. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Teaching responsibilities may include education of medical students, residents and fellows, as well as Program Director for the Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship.
Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care of breast cancer and benign breast patients.
Position will be based in Philadelphia at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and/or Pennsylvania Hospital with potential sites in suburban NJ and PA. Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency program and a breast surgical oncology or complex general surgical oncology fellowship.
