Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Anesthesiology with a focus on Pediatric Anesthesiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. ABA certification with subspecialty certification, the equivalent, or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system, along with ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license, is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching both in our formal didactic lecture program as well as in the informal teaching of medical students, residents and fellows rotating through the Operating Rooms.
Clinical responsibilities may include the provision of clinical anesthesia and medical direction in the Operating Rooms.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include collaborative research, grants and peer reviewed publications.
Primary practice located at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and King of Prussia campuses. Experience in pediatric anesthesiology and evidence of scholarship is required.
