What are the responsibilities and job description for the Postdoctoral Researcher position at University of Notre Dame?
The Advanced Materials and Manufacturing for Energy and Health (AM2EH) lab directed by Prof. Yanliang Zhang at University of Notre Dame has multiple openings for Postdoctoral Researchers to work on two externally funded projects:
(1) Bioprinting of large-scale vascularized tissues/organs for transplantation (in collaboration with Prof. Y. Shrike Zhang at Harvard Medical School);
(2) Flexible/wearable thermoelectric devices for personal cooling and energy harvesting (in collaboration with Prof. Jeff Snyder at Northwestern University).
Our interdisciplinary team is pioneering revolutionary 3D printing technologies for personalized health, and sustainable energy. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join a team at the forefront of flexible thermoelectric devices, additive manufacturing and bioprinting. Desired Qualifications:
● PhD in Science, Engineering or a related field
● Relevant research experiences and strong expertise in one of the above projects
● Proven track record of scientific productivity demonstrated by publications in reputable journals
● Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
