Job Function
Recruitment and Outreach
- Represent UNF at high schools, community colleges, and community events within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including principals, counselors, and community leaders.
- Counsel prospective students and families on admissions requirements, academic programs, and student life.
- Maintain regular communication with prospective students and families via email, phone, and virtual platforms.
- Assist in planning and executing recruitment events on-campus, off-campus, and virtually.
- Interpret and explain UNF and Florida Board of Governors policies, including BOG 6.002, general education requirements, and selective admissions criteria.
- Serve as UNFs brand ambassador by promoting the universitys mission, vision, and hallmarks.
- Develop emotional engagement strategies to enhance UNFs visibility and reputation.
- Support marketing initiatives through participation in open houses, workshops, and recruitment events, brochures, emails, and web content.
- Advise applicants on application procedures, scholarship opportunities, and tuition waivers.
- Monitor application status and follow up with prospective students to resolve issues and encourage completion.
- Utilize Banner, Slate, and other systems to collect and analyze data for recruitment effectiveness.
- Applies expertise to manage inquiries about college programs and resolve key operational issues, safeguarding the Universitys brand and student experience
- Support Financial Aid Outreach and Scholarship units in administering institutional merit scholarships.
- Provide guidance on out-of-state tuition waivers and refer specialized inquiries to senior leadership.
- Plan and manage extensive travel throughout Florida and select out-of-state regions.
- Represent UNF at college fairs, high school visits, and community events.
- Prepare and mail recruitment literature.
- Answer phone calls and take messages during peak periods.
- Assist other Enrollment Management units during high-volume times.
- Participate in university committees and special projects as assigned.
- Participate in public and persuasive speaking
- During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job-related duties at a designated off campus location or place of residence.
