This position is subject to the successful completion of an employment background check. | Job Description | The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice position to begin in the fall of 2027. The University of North Carolina at Pembroke is one of the seventeen member institutions in the University of North Carolina system. The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice is growing in size and offers numerous opportunities for creative teaching, including on-line courses, as well as advancement of scholarship. Position Responsibilities The successful candidate will:
