Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, nights and weekends as scheduled for events.

Days off vary according to the Athletic Event schedule.
Pay Rate $12.00/hour
Minimum Experience/Education
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in athletic facilities
  • Valid Driver's License
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
  • Masters preferred,
  • Experience working within an NCAA Division I Athletics Department, preferably with experience in facilities, game operations, and/or event management.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Acquire full knowledge of Charlotte athletic facilities
  • Assist in the setup and tear down of each facility for events
  • Assist the Director of Athletic Facilities with duties involved in operations of all Charlotte Athletic Facilities
  • Assist Associate Director of Athletic Events and Assistant Director of Athletic Events & Facilities to ensure all athletic events are run at a professional level
  • Assist in managing student work force at events
  • Conduct a weekly facility walk through and complete facility checklists for each facility ensure each facility is event ready
  • Collaborate with other departments within Athletics to foster a dynamic cross-functional line of communication
  • Act as primary game day manager (or secondary manager) for assigned sports. Coordinate communications with visiting team and officials as needed
  • Act as event manager to outside groups renting facilities.
  • Need to be able to operate University vehicles so a valid driver's license is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Other Work/Responsibilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Necessary Licenses or Certifications
Valid driver's license is required, as well as a background check being conducted before an offer is made.
