Primary Purpose Of Position
The Project Coordinator provides administrative, coordinative, and logistical support for engagement activities and initiatives led by the University Engagement & Events team. Working under the direction of senior staff, this position supports project execution, meeting coordination, communications, and record management to ensure timely, well-organized, and effective engagement activities.
This role focuses on operational support and coordination rather than strategic leadership or governance decision-making.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and one (1) year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Essential Job Duties
- Coordinates assigned engagement-related projects under established guidelines and timelines.
- Provides comprehensive administrative and operational support, including scheduling, communications, reporting, database management, and materials preparation.
- Supports planning and execution of meetings and engagement events.
- Maintains accurate records, data, and reports using shared systems and CRM tools.
- Serves as a liaison with internal partners to support smooth collaboration and communication.
- Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as assigned, demonstrating strong communication, writing, and design skills.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
- Experience in higher education, institutional advancement, or non-profit operations.
- Experience supporting meetings or working with senior leaders.
- Computer literacy and competency with donor databases, Salesforce or other CRM systems, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud products, Microsoft and Google suite of software products, project management software, and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Strong customer service orientation and collaborative work style.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
