Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit

Position Summary
The assistant’s job is primarily to catalogue the books we receive, keep track of books we are waiting to receive, and mail out books that have been assigned to a reviewer.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Management Preferences
Previous experience in sociology research
Previous experience with academic writing standards, communicating with book reviewers and coordinating book reviews
Prompt responsiveness to emails
A willingness to take initiative
