Position Summary
The Laboratory Relocation Assistant will provide support for a laboratory relocation project. This temporary position will assist with moving laboratory contents, coordinating surplus items, maintaining relocation documentation, and preparing laboratory spaces for turnover by organizing and emptying assigned areas.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist with relocating laboratory equipment, supplies, and materials.
  • Identify, organize, and prepare items designated for surplus disposal.
  • Maintain accurate relocation and inventory documentation.
  • Assist with packing, unpacking, labeling, and transporting laboratory contents.
  • Empty and clean assigned laboratory and storage spaces as directed.
  • Perform other relocation-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Demonstrated possession of competencies necessary to perform the work.

Management Preferences
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable and dependable attendance.

Special Physical/Mental Requirements
Ability to move items weighing up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and carrying items for extended periods with or without accommodation.
