Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The overarching mandate of the Center for European Studies is to enhance undergraduate and graduate instruction in contemporary European studies, to promote scholarship and training for students and faculty from all disciplines and professional schools, and to stimulate institutional and public awareness of Europe’s economic, cultural, and political importance on campus, in North Carolina, and across the nation.
Position Summary
Part-time support of CES summer initiatives, including but not limited to:
- CES Summer Study Tour coordination
- Social media and content creation
- Data collection and cleaning
- Grant writing and editing
- Events preparation and support
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Management Preferences
- Familiarity with stages of grant application, administration, or reporting
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or Microsoft Office
- Experience in program planning and administration
- Experience with graphic design
