Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Counselor Social Worker to join our team at the University of New Mexico. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high degree of independent decision-making and program administration.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in a related field and at least 3 years of direct experience working with individuals with substance abuse/dependence disorders and co-occurring disorders. They will be licensed as an LPCC/CMHC, LCSW, or LMFT in New Mexico.
Responsibilities include providing counseling, therapy, and psychotherapy to clients and families, preparing treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs, consulting with other therapists and professionals, and referring clients to social service agencies as needed.
