Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair computer hardware for the Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping (CCOM). Utilize CCOM information support systems to communicate with students, faculty and staff on a variety of IT needs. Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of CCOM IT facilities and inventory controls. Duties/Responsibilities
- Client computer support and troubleshooting (50%)
- Monitoring and responding to CCOM helpdesk requests (30%)
- Maintain Lab Facility and related resources (15%)
- Miscellaneous related duties (5%)
- 2-4 years working in information technology or related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and MacOS is a must. PC hardware repair experience as well.
- Client/customer support experience, and experience with support ticket systems desired, as well as inventory control.
- Experience with Microsoft and Adobe productivity applications also a plus.
- Good organizational skills.
