UNH Athletics Women's Swimming is searching for a Diving Coach.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Coach will make clear to the student-athletes in his or her charge the acceptable standards of behavior and expectations for conduct involving student-athletes. Coach also will make clear that appropriate disciplinary action will be enforced when these standards are not observed.
- Coach will recruit, develop and retain athletically talented student-athletes to compete successfully within the Conference, regionally and/or nationally.
- Encourage student-athletes to perform to their highest academic potential, achieve satisfactory progress toward degree to remain eligible, and graduate.
- Faithfully and conscientiously devote reasonable efforts to performing the coaching duties stated herein and as assigned by the Head Coach.
- Coach will develop and maintain a comprehensive program specific to divers within the parameters of the overall philosophy of the program and institution.
- Coach will represent the University on the highest professional level with dignity, integrity, and strength of character. Coach must respect the rights and dignity of each student-athlete, and be sensitive to diversity issues.
- Maintain competency with respect to knowledge of and compliance with state and federal laws, university policies/regulations, Conference rules/policies, and NCAA rules, and report to the Director of Athletics your knowledge of any violation of NCAA, conference and/or institutional rules.
- Pass the NCAA coaches certification test. Maintain current safety training certifications as required by the athletic department.
- Attend all mandatory NCAA compliance meetings and submit all compliance forms in a timely fashion.
- Observe and uphold all academic standards, requirements, and policies of UNH.
- Other duties as assigned by Head Coach Swimming & Diving.
