Duties/Responsibilities
The nursing clinical adjunct faculty instructor shall be responsible for the instruction and supervision of pre-licensure students during clinical learning activities at a cooperating agency:
- Supervise and instruct prelicensure students in clinical environment
- Deliver instructional material in alignment with course objectives and student outcomes
- Utilize a variety of appropriate teaching strategies to promote student learning
- Evaluate and document student progress and provide relevant and timely feedback to students
Candidates must meet one of the following conditions:
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- BS in Nursing, currently matriculated in an MSN or health care related graduate program
- BS in Nursing with extensive relevant experience
- At least two years of recent, relevant nursing experience in the specialty which you are applying for
- Current unencumbered New Hampshire registered nurse license or a current and unencumbered multi-state registered nurse license issued by a compact state
- Experience in working with college age and non-traditional students
- Skill in working with culturally diverse constituencies in the academic environment
