Job Description
The University of Nevada is looking for a Content Producer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and would like to join an innovative marketing team to promote a growing R1 University.
Reporting to the Director of Creative Services, and collaborating closely with the Social Media Communications Officer, Creative Services team, Growth Marketing Manager, and broader communications team, this role bridges storytelling with strategy – developing and executing content aligned with the University’s brand, messaging pillars, and strategic goals.
This role is responsible for producing compelling short-form videos, social-first photo content, and other multimedia assets that bring the University’s story to life across digital, social, and marketing platforms. This position is a mix of videography, photography and content strategy.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, multimedia, journalism, or related field and two (2) years of related work experience; OR
Master’s Degree in marketing, communications, multimedia, journalism, or related field and one (1) year of related work experience.
Related Experience:
- Multimedia production, video editing, and photography, particularly for social media or digital platforms.
- Proven experience in visual storytelling
Schedule and Travel Requirements
Some early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekend work as needed.
Occasional local travel in Reno and Lake Tahoe
Compensation Grade
$65,000-$83,000
Compensation Grade - B
Salary is based on related education and experience, internal equity and budgets.

Grants-in-aid for Faculty Employees
