Role Description
Reporting to the Director of Sport Science, the Sport Science Coordinator at UNLV will be responsible for all of the collection, analysis, and interpretation of all training load, biometric and key performance data for assigned teams. The Sport Science Coordinator will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to coordinating and managing sport science programs. The Sport Science Coordinator will collaborate with coaches, athletes, and other stakeholders to optimize performance and promote overall wellness.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a field related to Sport Science, Kinesiology, or Data Analytics
- 2 years of experience working in a High Performance team with athletes and coaches
- Experience working with workload monitoring, assessments, and data analytics
- Passion for sports and to be a part of a High Performance Team
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of sports science principles
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- CPR/First Aid Certified
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in a field related to Sport Science, Kinesiology, or Data Analytics
- CSCS and/or CPSS
- Experience with catapult, VALD suit, and diagnostic testing
