Job Description
The Office of Health Affairs has an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in activating and establishing relationships in rural medicine across the State of Missouri to advance biomedical research. In collaboration with University of Missouri Extension, you will bring research education to adult learners through in-person trainings, self-paced courses via Learning Management Systems (LMS) or websites, coordination of mixed media like YouTube, meeting technologies, workbooks, applications that offer gaming strategies for learning, and more. You will have the opportunity to bring research to the masses by coordinating, evaluating, and implementing research education and training programming. In addition to coordinating professional development opportunities for faculty and staff at MU, you will engage stakeholders and work with teams at MU Extension to broaden access to research education across the state.

Your work will be performed under the supervision of the Senior Director of Education Programs for the Office of Health Affairs.
Salary
Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually
Grade: GGS - 010
University Title: Senior Educational Program Coordinator

Shift
Monday through Friday, 40 hour work week
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates will be evaluated on a master’s degree in related/relevant area, and 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired. Possess conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within the Educational Support function. Applies general knowledge of educational support techniques developed through education and experiences. Will have strong attention to detail and ability to maximize relationships with faculty, staff, and clinicians in a variety of fields.
