The Department of Educational, School & Counseling Psychology, which primarily serves graduate students with some undergraduate courses, seeks a Sr Student Services Coordinator. The department has a very strong online presence, two nationally accredited programs, and a joint international master's program. Job Description
Job Duties:
Student Services
Provide comprehensive support to domestic, international, campus, and online graduate students from inquiry through graduation. Assist students with admissions, transferable credits, degree requirements, course planning, assistantships, progress toward degree completion, certification, and graduation requirements. Process student paperwork, maintain student records, and communicate program and university policies and procedures.
Academic Advising & Admissions Support
Coordinate admissions processes and academic advising activities by receiving and processing admissions documents, maintaining student records in university systems (including SLATE), and collaborating with faculty on admissions decisions, student progress, graduation clearance, accreditation requirements, and course scheduling. Serve as a liaison with the Registrar, Graduate School, Missouri Online, and other campus offices to ensure compliance with university policies and timely student support.
Program & Department Coordination
Coordinate operations for campus and online academic programs by collaborating with departmental leadership, faculty, adjunct instructors, and Missouri Online. Maintain departmental databases related to graduate assistants, faculty teaching assignments, and student enrollment. Schedule classrooms, coordinate course evaluations, prepare internal and external reports, disseminate departmental communications, and support accreditation, assessment, and program accountability initiatives.
Faculty & Administrative Support
Provide administrative support to department leadership and faculty by coordinating annual faculty review materials and schedules, maintaining evaluation tables for promotion, tenure, and merit processes, assisting with implementation of university policies, supporting departmental communications and website/social media updates as needed, planning departmental events and meetings, managing office operations, and proactively anticipating departmental deadlines and operational needs.
Other Duties
Perform other duties assigned in support of the mission, strategic priorities, and daily operations of the Department of Educational, School & Counseling Psychology and the College of Education & Human Development.
Shift
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, including some evenings and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $53,976-61,000
