Job Description
Position Summary
The CSM Associate III will provide leadership to the HVAC and refrigeration team, overseeing the service and maintenance of split systems, refrigeration systems, chillers, boilers, and packaged rooftop units. The role entails setting daily assignments and ensuring that all work is properly prioritized and executed.
Key Responsibilities
Sort and assign work orders based on priority and team skill sets.
Supervise and lead a crew responsible for building HVAC needs across campus.
Communicate regularly with team members regarding needs, concerns, and job expectations.
Coordinate work activities, outages, and repair schedules with customers, building coordinators, other trades, and management.
Perform preventative maintenance across MU facilities and ensure timely completion of all scheduled tasks.
Ensure all safety standards, policies, and best practices are consistently followed.
Maintain shop inventory, order materials as needed and ensure proper management of tools and equipment.
Keep the shop and work areas clean, safe, and well-organized.
Provide senior management with updates on job progress, challenges, and accomplishments.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with building coordinators, customers, and other trades to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
Screen and interview candidates; make hiring recommendations; train new team members; monitor work performance; and conduct performance appraisals.

7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Monday - Friday
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Five years’ experience with refrigeration and HVAC system controls troubleshooting.
Must possess a valid driver’s license, which will allow legal operation of a motor vehicle in the State of Missouri.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $29.00 - $37.38 hourly
Grade: GGS-009
