Job Description

The IHD is seeking a Research & Evaluation Coordinator (Senior Research Assistant) to support the Office of Research & Evaluation (R&E). The R&E Office provides centralized research, evaluation, data, and learning support across organizational centers and initiatives, helping strengthen data-informed decision-making, program improvement, strategic growth, dissemination activities, and organizational impact. The Coordinator will also support research and evaluation projects by coordinating data collection and reporting, managing project workflows, assisting with dissemination, and facilitating collaboration among internal and external stakeholders. The position works closely with the Director of Research & Evaluation and other R&E staff, program staff, researchers, evaluators, and community partners to support high-quality research and evaluation activities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations and activities of the Office of Research & Evaluation (R&E).
  • Manage the R&E Office intake, consultation, and project request process, connecting teams with appropriate research and evaluation support.
  • Coordinate and support research, evaluation, and technical assistance activities for internal and external partners.
  • Manage NIRS data collection, quality assurance, reporting, and outcome tracking.
  • Maintain research and evaluation tools, templates, protocols, and other shared resources.
  • Coordinate research, evaluation, and data activities across multiple projects and programs.
  • Support program evaluation, continuous quality improvement (CQI), and organizational learning initiatives.
  • Assist with IRB submissions, research compliance activities, and grant reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and coordinate reports, presentations, publications, dashboards, and other dissemination products. Support grant proposal development, evaluation planning, logic model development, and related data activities. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with program teams, community partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of organizational research and evaluation infrastructure.

  • Demonstrated experience or equivalent knowledge and skills, and relevant experience working with grants, research projects, data, and program evaluation are desirable.

This position is a 12-month, full-time, benefit-eligible, unranked/non-tenure track academic position

Qualifications

Master’s degree, three years of relevant experience or a similar type of experience.

Area of study in social work, public health, informatics, and social science, or related fields.

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $72,000 to $78,000/year.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
