Job Description

The Center for Child Well-Being, housed within the Department of Psychiatry in the University of Missouri School of Medicine, seeks a Program Coordinator. This position will provide comprehensive coordination, including logistical & operational support, to ensure successful implementation of early childhood contracts at the Center for Child Well-Being.

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Program coordination & logistics associated with contract deliverables, with direction from the Training Lead
  • Prepare and manage enrollment materials for participating programs and individuals
  • Attend team meetings and actively contribute to program planning, implementation, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide logistical and technical support during professional development sessions (virtual and in-person)
  • Deliver real-time support during virtual trainings, including attendance tracking, troubleshooting technical issues, sharing resources, and ensuring a seamless participant experience
  • Complete post-training tasks, including approving participant clock hours in the Missouri Professional Development (MOPD) system
  • Develop and distribute training-related communications and promotional materials (e.g., email campaigns, social media content, announcements)
  • Lead preparation, inventory, and distribution of training and program materials, including packing and shipping
  • Manage requests for early learning supplies, children’s literature, and professional resources
  • Create and submit purchasing documentation, including carts in Show-Me Shop and supporting Purchase Orders
  • Provide ongoing operational support to coaches working in the field
  • Research and curate high-quality, evidence-based resources for coaches and educators
  • Develop and maintain organized digital resource libraries aligned with training and coaching content
  • Maintain working knowledge of required curricula and aligned best-practice resources
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Competencies Include

  • Demonstrated ability to respond to questions and concerns with professionalism, responsiveness, and empathy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom) and Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to manage logistics and problem-solve in real time, particularly during live training events
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs

Shift

Monday – Friday

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Occasional nights and weekends to accommodate trainings.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $20.00 - $28.00 hourly

Grade: GGS - 008
