Clinics and Surgery Center Outpatient Imaging Center: We are an American College of Radiology-certified Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence providing multi-modality imaging services to broad multispecialty clinical practices and our ambulatory surgery center. Our services include CT, DEXA, MRI, general, fluoroscopic, interventional, and orthopedic X-ray, and ultrasound, as well as being home to an Intersocietal Accreditation Commission-accredited noninvasive vascular imaging and testing laboratory. We proudly serve in support of the University of Minnesota Medical School's thriving radiology residency program, research programs, and of patients from across the nation coming to the University for specialty care.

Radiology Technologist - Lead Overview

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performs complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures and communicates data to stakeholders as ordered by physician or provider.
  • Delivers care as delegated by the Provider and Radiology Department protocols and procedures to assigned patient populations or individual patient.
  • Works with radiologists, residents, and other health care team members, to ensure all concerns are addressed and protocols are up to date.
  • Prepares patients for RT exams, coordinates exams and organizes care plans to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
  • Acts as the lead of department staff including but not limited to scheduling, coordinating interdepartmental needs, supply ordering, troubleshooting, departmental compliance, quality assurance and testing, reporting and report generation.
  • Represents X-Ray Department at relevant meetings and councils.
  • Identifies and assists with process improvements.
  • Documents initial and ongoing data, responses/results or interventions consistent with established policies/procedures/ guidelines along with any equipment concerns and/or malfunctions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited Radiology Health Sciences program with an ARRT registration

  • 3 years of relevant experience

Compensation:

37.89 - 54.94 USD Hourly
