Summary
The Office of Faculty Development, a highly visible office with activities bridging the Medical School, Michigan Medicine and the campus community is looking for a high-energy, detailed-oriented individual to join our fast-paced team. The Faculty Development Coordinator will report to the Assistant Director of Leadership Development but will work collaboratively with Faculty Development program managers.

Responsibilities*
Manage program logistics including room schedules and set-up, registration, catering, arrange and supervise vendor service delivery, audio visual equipment for asynchronous activities, virtual moderating, and other services as needed
Additional workshop management including developing program communications and preparation and/or editing of curricular materials
Preparation and close-out of Continuing Medical Education (CME) applications
MiVideo upkeep for recorded programs
Booking meeting space and maintaining the Faculty Development program calendar
Coordinates other ad hoc projects as required
Provide administrative support for various committee meetings including agendas, minute taking, correspondence, and scheduling as needed
Act as the first point of contact to monitor and respond to incoming requests from faculty and Medical School leadership
Provide administrative support to the Office of Faculty Development’s leadership
Required Qualifications*
Associate’s degree and/or equivalent experience
2-3 years administrative support experience
Demonstrated interest and involvement in enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion
The individual should possess excellent interpersonal skills in order to deal collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within teams and independently
Applicants should demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills and good judgment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills, including ability to plan, organize, and follow through on a large and diverse workload, while attending to detail and meeting deadlines.
Desired Qualifications*
- Previous experience working with faculty and executive level leadership
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
