- Prepare foods accoding to the recipes and proceedures of the Courtside Grill
- Provide safe handling and storage of food and chemicals as per Health Deparment standards
- Assist in food prep, dish washing and sanitation as needed.
- Work as a team player to insure efficient and excellent production
- Provide a clean and sanitary environment for the safe handling of food
- Assist in solving work area problems by communicating ideas and solutions to supervisor and fellow care givers.
- Assist in all other aspects of food service production as needed.
General Requirements
- None
- Previous experience as a Line Cook for at least one year
- High school diploma, GED or successful completion of 12 grades combined with continued enrollment in early college program
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prepare multiple food items in a limited time frame according to Courtside Grill standards
- Demonstrated knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling
- Reading, verbal, and writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle the physical demands of food preparation and production
- Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job Preferred:
- ServeSafe Food Certification
