Job Description

General Purpose of Job:

Concierge is the lead on the Concierge Desk at the MAC. Their main purpose is to sign members and guests up for programming for all programs the MAC offers.

Essential Duties

This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Caregivers may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.

• Greeting each Members and Guests
• Accept ownership and responsibility
• Maintain knowledge on current club programs
• Scheduling/reserving courts
• Sign-up for program registration
• Problem solving
• POS Transactions
• Answering phones, paging, and placing calls to VM
• Great Customer service for both members and guests.
• In depth knowledge of Club Automation software at the MAC
• Handles POS daily
• Assists with POS and Concierge desk training to Caregivers.
  
  

Job Requirements

• CPR
• First Aid
  
  

Work Experience

• Minimum one year experience as a concierge caregiver or desk attendant.
  
  

Education

• High school diploma, GED or successful completion of 12 grades combined with continued enrollment in early college program
  
  

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job. Preferred:
• Must have great customer service skills and ability to communicate well with people.
