Job Description
General Purpose of Job:
Working as part of a team to provide quality patient care and assist with the daily functions of the physician clinic.
Essential Duties:
- Assist with patients.
- Take vital signs.
- Enter data in electronic medical record.
- Maintain/Stock clinic supplies and exam rooms.
- Patient assistance program for applicable patients.
- Clean surgical equipment.
- Clerical and other duties assigned by the Manager of Patient Care the essential duties of the job beginning with the most important.
Job Requirements
| General Requirements | State of Michigan LPN, EMT, or Paramedic license if applicable RMA/CMA preferred. |
| Work Experience | Clinical Experience preferred. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) system preferred. |
| Education | * High School Diploma, (2) GED or (3) the successful completion of twelve grades combined with the continued enrollment in an Early College Program.. * Graduate of an accredited Cardio Tech, EMT, Paramedic, or LPN program OR Course completion of one of the following programs: Medical Assistant, Armed forces medic program OR 6 months documented Medical Assistant experience in similar clinic setting. |
