This executive role is responsible for strategic leadership and operational oversight of multiple clinical and support departments, ensuring high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
Primary Responsibilities
- Executive Oversight: Provide visionary leadership and direction for the following departments and the leaders: Diagnostic Imaging, Clinical Laboratory, Cancer Center, Pulmonary Services, Cardiac Rehab, Facilities, Property and Construction Management, Food Service, Emergency Management, Environmental Services, Biomedical Services, Security, and Communications.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement departmental strategies that support Shore Regional Health’s goals for patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the President, senior leadership team, and department heads to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all departments operate at the highest standards of quality, safety, and service, maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Resource Management: Oversee budgets, staffing, and resource allocation, optimizing operations and supporting the organization’s financial sustainability.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor performance metrics, driving accountability and improvement through data-driven decision-making.
- Innovation: Identify and implement best practices, new technologies, and innovative approaches to enhance clinical and support services.
- Risk Management: Lead emergency management initiatives and ensure robust security and environmental services to safeguard patients, staff, and facilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, staff, regulatory agencies, and community partners.
- Governance and Committee Participation: Provide operational, clinical and strategic insights as an executive liaison or member of various committees including Board of Directors, Strategic Planning Committee, Medical Executive Committee, Construction & Facility and others as assigned.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Demonstrated skill in applying LEAN principles and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize operations, reduce waste and improve quality and safety.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise and data-driven presentation to Board of Directors, and other senior governance bodies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Budgeting for operations and capital
- Productivity and workforce planning
- Ability to work effectively in a complex matrix organization
- Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, with executive-level responsibility.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical and support service operations, including services such as diagnostic imaging, laboratory, cancer center, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, pulmonary, cardiac rehab, facilities management, food service, emergency management, environmental services, biomedical services, security, and communications.
- Construction management experience

Compensation
- Pay Range: $220,000.00 - $260,000.00
