What You'll Do
- Provide 24-hour leadership and oversight of Emergency Department operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and departmental budgets.
- Monitor quality metrics and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Support employee engagement, retention, and recruitment efforts within the department.
- Promote a positive patient experience and service excellence culture.
Required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, charge nurse, or nurse manager experience.
- Emergency Department nursing experience.
- Specialty nursing certification.

- Pay Range: $54.42 - $81.64/hr
- Other Compensation (if applicable): MIP Bonus-Eligible
