Under general direction of the Director of Community Outreach and Health Improvement (COHI), a Community Outreach Events and Staffing Coordinator is responsible for serving as the liaison between community organizations and the COHI department, manages the execution of events, health screenings, and various community outreach activities offered through the COHI program.

Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Community Health, Public Health, or a related field is required.
- 3 years of experience in public relations, events management, marketing, or other closely related field is preferred.
- Prior healthcare experience is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills necessary in communicating with patients, and the community in the following development stages: newborn, toddler, school age, adult and the elderly.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Exemplary customer service skills.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to organize with a strong attention to details.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to utilize computer technology.

- Pay Range: $28.82 - 40.35
