Job Requirements
JOB SUMMARY: Independently provides and coordinates care provided to patients within the clinical specialty. Demonstrates and models the full range of nursing professional practice in both care provided and in participation in the development of strategies to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction with service and cost-effectiveness. Provides and coordinates infusion activities to assure compassionate and effective patient care. Accountable to patients and families for the processes and outcomes of care during an episode of care. A clinically competent Registered Nurse who initiates and monitors specific phases of infusion therapy, central line care with blood drawing, IVP medications, chemotherapy, biotherapy and phlebotomy. This role promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.
Work Experience
Education & Training:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Current Maryland Registered Nurse license required.
Successful completion of ONS Chemotherapy & Bio-therapy training course at time of hire.
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred.

Pay Range: $4738 /hr. Flat rate
