Key Responsibilities
The following statements describe the general nature and level of work performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties.
- Maintains and organizes the anesthesia environment, equipment, supplies, and personnel to support efficient perioperative operations.
- Sets up anesthesia equipment and demonstrates strong understanding of specialized anesthesia devices including invasive pressure monitoring, IV setup, and airway management equipment.
- Obtains, organizes, and stocks anesthesia supplies and equipment as requested by the anesthesia care team while maintaining appropriate par levels across all anesthetizing locations including operating rooms, travel carts, emergency airway carts, and regional carts.
- Demonstrates advanced technical knowledge and troubleshooting ability related to anesthesia delivery systems, anesthesia machines, and patient monitoring equipment.
- Cleans and disinfects anesthesia machines, monitors, and equipment in accordance with infection prevention and infection control standards. Ensures contaminated items are handled and disposed of appropriately following organizational policy and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintains equipment inventory related to repairs, preventative maintenance, loaner equipment, and demonstration equipment.
- Maintains working knowledge of hazardous material handling procedures and the location of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) to support a safe perioperative environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Licensure & Experience
- Certified Anesthesia Technician (ASATT) certification strongly preferred at time of hire; or required within established timeframe following employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- 1 year of Operating Room or Anesthesiology experience required.
- 2 - 3 years of Anesthesia Technician experience preferred.
- Knowledge of anesthesia equipment, invasive monitoring setup, airway devices, anesthesia delivery systems, and patient monitoring equipment required.
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

- Pay Range: $21.27 - $34.62/hr.
- Shift, Weekend, & Holiday Differentials.
- Benefits Package applicable to Full-Time, Part-Time, & PRN Staff Members.
