What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Medicine Director Administrative Operations-Hybrid Opportunity position at University of Maryland Faculty Physicians?
Provides senior leadership over the department’s administrative operations and Human Resources, overseeing a team of managers across multiple service lines and administrative functions. Directs day-to-day operational oversight and long-range planning in support of the department’s academic, clinical, and educational mission. Serves as the department’s human resources lead, setting workforce strategy and organizational priorities while overseeing HR operations through delegated management. Works closely with the Chair, Chief Administrative Officer, and senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into operational execution within a complex academic healthcare environment.

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications. EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or equivalent combination of training or experience
- 10 years progressive leadership experience in administration management; 5 years of senior level human resources leadership experience in a complex healthcare or academic environment
- At least 5 years supervisory experience
- SHRM-CP is preferred
