Job Description: UofL Health Healthcare System in Louisville, KY, is seeking a BC/BE Hospitalist for float position to include UofL Health Hospitals in the Louisville region including UofL Hospital, Jewish Hospital, Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, South Hospital, and Shelbyville Hospital. The successful candidate will practice in a team-oriented, supportive, and collaborative environment. Essential Functions: Assesses the physical status of clients through interview, health history and physical examination and both inpatient and outpatient services. Formulates treatment plans for health problems and follow-ups. Writes prescriptions for medication, blood tests and routine diagnostic and follow-up studies and therapeutic measures. Evaluates the quality of care provided and recommends changes for improvement. Documents and reports care in an accurate and timely manner. Other Functions: Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of conduct. Performs other duties as assigned.
