Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology

The University of Louisiana Monroe invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology and Graduate Program Coordinator. This is a face-to-face position that involves regular, daily interaction with students, faculty, and university staff. The role balances reduced teaching responsibilities with substantial administrative coordination for our graduate psychology programsTo accommodate administrative duties, the teaching load is set at two to three courses per semester. Responsibilities include:

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses across a variety of topics, including advanced statistics and forensic psychology.
• Experienced both online and face-to-face teaching, including large classes
• Maintaining an active presence on campus to support student learning, advising, and professional mentorship.

• Ph.D. or Psy. D. in Psychology from an American University (state licensure in psychology preferred).
• Familiarity with advanced statistics and quantitative methods
• History of peer-reviewed research and publications

• Preference given to candidates with a background or specialization in forensic psychology

Program Management & Year-Round Expectations:

The coordinator manages an online and face-to-face graduate program of approximately 150 students with rolling admissions throughout the year. Because admissions and student processing occur continuously, this position requires active involvement during academic breaks and summer sessions.
Additional duties include overseeing all graduate admissions, student coordination, academic advising, directing master’s theses, and recruitment and career preparation activities.
