Assist with preparation of individual and small business tax returns Organize and input client tax documents into software Perform basic bookkeeping and account reconciliations Maintain confidential digital filing systems Support client communication via email and phone Provide general administrative assistance to the CPA |
| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | REQUIRED Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Basic knowledge of accounting and tax principles (through coursework or experience) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Actively pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Availability for in-person work January through April PREFERRED Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Professional verbal and written communication Familiarity with QuickBooks or tax software a plus Motivated and detail-oriented |
