| Physical Requirements | The essential functions for this position include the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases, hazards of radiation, and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments. |
| Shift | Hours are variable between days, evenings, nights with some weekend and holiday requirements. Preferred candidates will be able to work a variety of shifts. This position requires the ability to do orientation of up to 30 hours per week on any shift for the first 6 to 8 weeks of employment. |
| Job Summary | The Nursing Care Technician in the Per Diem pool is a member of the team who is responsible for patient care, patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes. The NCT performs the duties for which they are trained, including providing comfort measures for the patient and notifying the RN when any change in the patient’s condition occurs. This position cover units at Chandler and Samaritan. |
