The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Provides patient care/service based on identified needs/developmental levels for all patient populations.
- Adult outpatient and Post-Op Orthopedic
- M-F 8-4:30
- Starting pay $39.50
- Will have to assist with adult hospital weekend and holiday coverage – usually 1-2 holidays per year (one minor and one major - Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day)
- $20K loan forgiveness or sign-on bonus (their choice) with 2-year commitment
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Valid Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy license
- Valid Kentucky driver's license (if home health)
- One year of clinical experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates assigned patients within the guidelines established by the physician and in compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Implements competent treatment and performs regular reassessments for treatment modification, to maximize the patient’s potential for functional independence.
- Provides patient/family/caregiver education based on the patient’s disability, age, and psychosocial needs.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation timely.
