Work Experience: Three years of experience in the installation of all phrases of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems and components.

Job Description
Job Duties:
- Direct and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of building systems and equipment, updating or replacing as needed.
- Supervise the repair and installation of motors, machinery, HVAC, and electrical control systems.
- Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs and coordinate assigned staff activities.
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards, safety, and timely project completion.
- Serve as departmental liaison for projects within assigned zones.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts, cost discrepancies, and quality issues.
- Review zone priorities and procedures to maintain efficient operations.
- Collaborate with the Associate Director on major projects, budgets, and staffing recommendations.
- Supervise, train, counsel, and evaluate zone team members to enhance skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with EPA, refrigeration, and safety regulations.
- Direct staff in scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and minor installations.
- Manage staffing, materials, inventory, and expenditures within budget.
- Oversee contractors and ensure a clean, safe, and functional work environment that supports the department’s mission.
- Promote accident prevention through safety training, equipment inspections, and compliance enforcement.
- Maintain accurate records for EPA, safety, and mechanical/electrical testing requirements.
- Manage EPA-related programs, including refrigerant tracking and compliance.
- Maintain refrigerant compliance software through data entry and reporting.
- Ensure campus adherence to all regulatory policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Work Experience:
- Four years of experience in building or mechanical trades. Education may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
- Five years of experience managing facility operations for large campuses or physical plants, overseeing multiple skilled trades and maintenance, construction, or repair of buildings, grounds, and utilities.
- Three years of experience in the supervision.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management.
Work Experience: Three years of experience in the installation of all phrases of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems and components.
