Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Fargo, ND, for an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for designing and delivering course content, mentoring and advising students, and contributing to the development of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Duties also include engaging in scholarly activities, staying current with physical therapy education trends and research, and actively participating in service to the university and professional community. Collaboration with colleagues and fostering a supportive educational environment are critical aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in Physical Therapy, including clinical experience and relevant credentials (DPT or equivalent degree required; advanced academic degree preferred).
- Expertise in curriculum development, effective teaching methodologies, and student advisement.
- Demonstrated competency in scholarly activities, research, and evidence-based practices within the field of physical therapy.
