The University of Indianapolis is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Assistant to support Athletic Development, with a focus on Greyhound Club events and hospitality. This role is essential in cultivating relationships, enhancing the game day experience, and executing fundraising events that strengthen engagement with alumni and the broader UIndy community. This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Athletic Engagement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and experience in athletics, event management, hospitality, or non-profit operations are preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and management skills are required.
- Admittance to a University of Indianapolis graduate program prior to employment is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sports Administration, Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
This position calls for but is not limited to the following:
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of Greyhound Club events and Athletic Development functions, including but not limited to, golf outings, donor receptions, online auctions, reunions, and member events.
- Conduct outreach to alumni via phone and other channels to personally invite and encourage attendance at reunion and engagement events, helping strengthen lifelong connections to the university.
- Assist with the management and operation of the Hines Hospitality Room for home basketball games and Stadium Club Hospitality for home football games.
- Provide hospitality support at select athletic events throughout the year.
- Manage and provide leadership to student workers assisting with Greyhound Club events and functions.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of Greyhound Club board meetings and communications with board members.
- Assist with social media and promotional content highlighting Athletic Development events and donor engagement opportunities.
- Encourage engagement from alumni, friends, and community partners with Greyhound Athletics.
- Communicate professionally with alumni, donors, athletic administrators, coaches, student-athletes, and community partners.
- Assist with additional Athletic Development initiatives and projects as assigned.
