Experience
REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 1 year in the custodial field. Requires knowledge of cleaning terms and safety procedures related to hazardous chemicals.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Follow the guidance and direction of supervisor(s).
- Provide guidance for new hires and ongoing staff development.
- Order janitorial supplies and ensure janitorial closets are well stocked with supplies.
- General care and cleaning of university buildings.
- Design, update and participate in custodian trainings.
- Ensure assignments are completed in accordance with departmental standards.
- Abide by the University’s policies, procedures, and rules.
- Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
- Other duties, including special projects, as required or assigned.
