The Assistant Vice President and Dean of Students will serve as a senior leader within Student Affairs, providing leadership and supervision to staff. The broad areas of supervision will include Title IX, Student Conduct, Disability Services, and student events, activities, leadership, and student engagement. The position requires a dynamic and collaborative leader who can effectively balance strategic planning with hands-on engagement to address the diverse needs of students, faculty, and staff.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications
Experience
- Requires 10 years of full-time experience in student affairs, including experience working with Title IX, student conduct, disability services, and student activities, events, leadership, and student engagement. At least five years of experience supervising full-time staff.
- Masters degree required, Doctorate preferred.
- Supervises full-time staff responsible for Title IX, Student Conduct, Disability Services, and student activities, events, leadership, and student engagement. Lead and develop a comprehensive vision and plan for enhancement of key student affairs areas that support the university strategic plan. Lead creation of learning outcomes and assessment for the key areas.
- Provide support to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Student Success as needed, which may include continued realignment of responsibilities within the division.
- Follow the guidance and direction of supervisor(s).
- Demonstrate respectful, ethical, responsible behavior.
- Abide by the University’s policies, procedures, and rules.
- Perform employee responsibilities as detailed in employee handbooks and policies.
- Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work nights and weekends, as required.
- Other duties, including special projects, as required or assigned.
