Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as an Electron Microscopy Scientist located in Chicago, IL. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing advanced electron microscopy systems including HAADF, ABF, EELS, image simulation and quantitative image anslysis.
Qualifications
- Experience in using abbertion-corrected electron microscopy systems, including scanning and transmission electron microscopes, EELS, EDS, ABF and HAADF
- Knowledge of microscopy image acquisition, analysis, and interpretation
- Strong background in materials science, nanotechnology, or physics
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- PhD in a scientific field relevant to electron microscopy
- Experience with related software tools and data analysis programs is a plus
