Position Summary
This position provides leadership and vision to the employer management and development functions for Career Services by marketing and expanding UIC's presence with local and national employers. Additionally, the position serves as a member of the department's senior management team developing strategies to improve career preparation, opportunities, and connections for undergraduate and graduate students and alumni.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of work experience in career services or a corporate recruitment human resources function is required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Direct experience with career planning, campus recruitment, internship and employment practices is required.
- Experience with business development and sales or external outreach preferred, particularly in an educational or career development setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills.
