This position shall enhance the Faculty's effectiveness by providing administrative support to all faculty and visiting scholars. It will provide administrative support for faculty committees, including managing appointments and assignments, scheduling meetings, and maintaining an organized system for minutes, reports, templates, and archives.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Administrative support for all faculty including course preparation, scholarship, and committee work._x000d_
- Updating faculty handbook; gathering information and exhibits, and preparing drafts for all institutional accreditation and compliance reporting; preparing necessary spreadsheets and lists for budget allocation; coordinating reimbursement request approval and processing; running budget queries & reports; reconciling invoices with appropriate budgets; creating and managing a filing system for all department records; collecting, reviewing, and inputting necessary information for faculty databases for records management, accreditation/compliance, event planning, etc.
- Committee work: Providing administrative support for faculty committee work, including assignments and committee appointment lists; orientation; hiring of both full time and adjunct faculty; meeting scheduling; managing a file system for committee minutes & reports, including templates, collections, and archiving.
- Serving as liaison between faculty and Institutional Affairs for all faculty/academic events, facilitating event requests; managing and coordinating all aspects of events from request to execution.
- Coordinating faculty office assignments and moves; preparing office door signs for faculty; organizing the office layout; maintaining the physical appearance of the office, faculty lounge, adjunct faculty lounge, and vicinity; maintaining stationary and other essential office supplies and keeping a regular inventory of such items.
- Manage day-to-day office operations. Interview, hire, orient, lead, mentor and evaluate staff to meet departmental and organizational needs.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Any one or any combination totaling five (5) years (60 months) from the following categories:
- college course work in business, finance, accounting or a related field:
- 60 semester hours or an Associate's degree equals one (1) year (12 months)
- 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
- 120 semester hours or a Bachelor's degree equals three (3) years (36 months)
- Master's degree or higher equals four (4) years (48 months)
- progressively more responsible general or specialized office experience which included aspects of supervising staff or a job function, organizing, and performing duties that lead to knowledge of generally accepted office principles
- Strong organization, time management, and scheduling skills, maintaining confidential information with care, attention to detail, meeting and calendar management -demonstrated experience managing a heavily impacted academic and events schedule and calendar
- Client relationships-ability to work with all law school and external constituencies to effectively promote and support the work of the associate deans and faculty
- Proficiency in using software like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets.
