Customer Service Manager

Department: Parking & Transport Operations Salary: $49,400 - $56,200

Description

Manages the daily operations of a customer service unit within Parking & Transportation to include but not limited to training and supervising staff. Ensures the smooth flow of information to the public and university community.

• Supervises, trains, and evaluates customer service staff.
• Schedules section activities and implements changes in procedures as needed.
• Oversees contracts/outsourced customer service units.
• Addresses and resolves more complex and difficult questions, complaints or problems.
• Partners with other departments as needed to address customer service issues.
• Complies and reviews period reports, conducts period customer satisfaction surveys and reviews the effectiveness of customer service within Parking & Transportation.
• Identifies and implements customer service methods appropriate to Department and University needs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  
  

MQ: Requires the ability and knowledge for analysis and interpretation of procedures, policies and practices attainable through specific education and/or training programs in a specialty or technical field. Advanced vocational or electronic skills or a basic knowledge of a professional field is required.

An Associate's degree or certification/licensing in a technical specialty program of over 18 months and up to 3 years duration are characteristic of this field.

Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.
