Associate or Full Professor - Health Law

The University of Houston Law Center (Law Center) invites applications for a tenured Associate or Full Professor position in health law to begin in the academic year 2026-2027. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a chair or professorship depending on experience and qualifications.

Applicants for the position must hold a J.D. degree (or the equivalent), have an excellent record of health law scholarship, have made substantial scholarly contributions to that specific discipline, possess a strong teaching record, and have a record that demonstrates a proven commitment to service. Rank at the time of appointment will be made based on academic and scholarly record.

The successful candidate will teach health law courses or courses related to health law. The successful candidate will also be affiliated with the Law Center’s top-ranked Health Law & Policy Institute (HLPI) (https://www.law.uh.edu/healthlaw/).
