Salary information: Minimum for Academic Year 2026-2027, $2,053 per credit hour, commensurate with education and experience.
Other Conditions:- For lecturer applicant pool, part-time, pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements.
- Must be available to teach courses online and in person, either during the day, evening, or weekend.
- Co-teach (with a Korean Language instructor) assigned courses in K-Pop dance in K-Pop dance, in the style of modern K-Pop groups like BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE or NCT127
- Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
- Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
- Work under supervision of the division chair in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in the discipline area.
- As needed, work with multimedia presentation, distance education instruction, and teaching at off-campus sites.
- High proficiency in English
- Master's degree in relevant discipline or master's degree, or equivalent experience teaching K-Pop dance classes.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
- College teaching experience.
- Knowledge of K-Pop terminology, trends, groups, and conventions.
- Ability to speak conversational intermediate level or higher Korean
- Ability to teach singing in Korean
